Qatar and Jordan have recently engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing their bilateral ties while supporting diplomatic efforts to mitigate regional tensions.
The conversation took place between HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and Jordan’s Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, on Friday.
Both officials explored avenues for collaboration across various mutual interests, while also highlighting Pakistan-led mediation efforts related to the ongoing discourse between the United States and Iran. Wider regional initiatives aimed at fostering stability and de-escalation were key discussion points.
They underscored the necessity of persistent diplomatic dialogue to alleviate tensions and avert future escalations in the area, reinforcing the importance of constructive engagement from all other involved parties to achieve peaceful resolutions.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani reiterated Qatar’s commitment to diplomatic strategies that address the underlying causes of regional conflicts, contributing toward lasting peace and stability through sustainable agreements.
