Abu Dhabi Boosts UK Tourism with Eight Strategic Alliances

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Abu Dhabi is eager to enhance its presence in the UK tourism market with a series of new partnerships aimed at improving its global visibility. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has signed eight pivotal agreements with prominent UK travel entities at the World Travel Market in London, recognized as one of the largest gatherings in the travel industry.

This initiative exemplifies Abu Dhabi’s commitment to expanding its tourism sector while ensuring UK travelers have streamlined access to its array of attractions, accommodations, and experiences. The partnerships will effectively bridge the gap for both first-time and returning visitors, solidifying Abu Dhabi’s status as a sought-after destination.

The agreements include collaborations with Southall Travel, Luxury Holidays, Best At Travel, Destination2, Kenwood Travel, Elevate, DialAFlight, and loveholidays. Each partner has been chosen for its specialized knowledge across varying market sectors—ranging from family trips and romantic getaways to luxury travel—aligning seamlessly with the objectives of Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030.

Through these collaborations, Abu Dhabi seeks to ensure its prominent feature in travel packages and online platforms throughout the UK. This initiative highlights the emirate not only as a luxury escape but also as a destination rich in diverse attractions catering to all visitors year-round.

This effort forms part of DCT Abu Dhabi’s larger strategy to advance sustainable tourism development, bolster the sector's long-term viability, and ensure resilience in a landscape where international travelers are crucial to the regional economy.
