The Zayed National Museum has revealed its April Learning and Public Engagement programme, inviting visitors to dive deep into the UAE’s rich history, culture, and heritage through captivating guided tours, hands-on workshops, and educational initiatives.
Among the highlights for April is the resumed Al Dhuha Hour on 13 April, returning after a successful inaugural session in December 2025. This monthly event caters to senior citizens, including those living with dementia and their caregivers. Participants can look forward to a creative botanical eco-printing workshop that incorporates traditional Emirati flowers and plants.
Additionally, the museum is broadening its outreach with the introduction of From Museum to Community, an initiative under the Multaqa Zayed National Museum umbrella. Kicking off in April, this program will host a series of discussions and talks across various cultural venues throughout the UAE, encouraging dialogue among communities, researchers, and heritage specialists.
The museum also continues to offer its popular guided tours and interactive workshops. Attendees can participate in bilingual experiences such as A Walk Through Our History—available in Emirati Sign Language—and A Walk Among Our Wings. Family-oriented workshops, including Oasis Weaving, Build Your Museum, Create Your Calming Necklace, Design Your Porcelain Fruit Bowl, and Tree of Values, offer a range of creative and educational activities suitable for all ages.
With such a dynamic array of offerings, the April schedule underscores the museum’s commitment to fostering accessible, inclusive, and engaging cultural learning opportunities for the broader community.
