A major leak has given the clearest look yet at Apple’s plans for the next few years. Information taken from an early version of iOS 26 suggests that Apple is working on a wide range of new products, including a foldable iPhone, AirTag 2, updated Macs, iPads, wearables, and smart home devices.
The leak came from an early iOS 26 build running on a prototype device. According to reports, this device was shared with researchers shortly after Apple released the first developer beta of iOS 26. The data, later reported by technology site MacRumors, included internal codenames and product categories that point to Apple’s long-term hardware strategy. Apple has not officially confirmed any of these details.
Foldable iPhone Finally in Development
One of the biggest surprises in the leak is confirmation that Apple is developing a foldable iPhone. Listed under an internal codename, the device is expected to arrive sometime after 2026. Many rival brands already sell foldable phones, and Apple’s entry into this space could be a major moment for the smartphone market. While no design or feature details were revealed, the listing confirms that Apple is actively working on the product.
AirTag 2 and Smarter Home Devices
The leak also confirms that Apple is preparing a second-generation AirTag. Known internally as AirTag 2, the device is expected to launch in 2026. No specific features were mentioned, but users may expect better tracking accuracy and improved security.
In addition, Apple appears to be expanding its smart home lineup. New products include a next-generation Apple TV, two different home hubs, and a HomePod mini 2. These devices suggest Apple is serious about building a stronger smart home ecosystem that connects TVs, speakers, and home controls more closely.
New iPads and Displays on the Way
Apple’s tablet plans also appear in the leak. The company is working on a new base iPad and updated iPad Air models powered by the M4 chip. Both 11-inch and 13-inch versions are listed, with options for Wi-Fi and cellular use.
There are also signs of a new Apple Studio Display 2, which could arrive in 2026 or later. This would be aimed at professionals who use Macs for creative and technical work.
Macs Powered by New Chips
The roadmap shows a heavy focus on Mac computers. Apple is said to be developing a low-cost MacBook powered by an A18 Pro chip, along with new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models using M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips.
Desktop machines are also part of the plan. Future Mac mini and Mac Studio models are expected to use advanced M5 and M5 Ultra chips. This suggests Apple will continue pushing performance improvements across its entire Mac lineup.
Wearables and Mixed Reality Devices
The leak points to several new wearable products. These include Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. Apple is also working on a second-generation Vision Pro headset, a lighter Vision Air model, and even AI-powered smart glasses.
These devices show Apple’s growing interest in mixed reality and artificial intelligence, areas that could shape how people use technology in daily life.
What This Leak Means
While leaks can change and products may be delayed or canceled, this roadmap shows Apple’s ambition. The company appears to be planning updates across nearly every product category, from phones and tablets to computers, wearables, and home devices.
If even part of this lineup launches by 2026, Apple users could see one of the biggest waves of new devices in the company’s history. For now, the leak offers an early preview of what Apple may be building behind closed doors.
