Dubai, UAE – In a significant advancement for the governance frameworks, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and UAE Minister of Defence, has officially appointed Amna Hamood Obaid Al Suwaidi as the Chief Executive Officer of the Future Resources Sector within the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.
This decision follows Executive Council Resolution No. (91) of 2025 and takes immediate effect. The resolution will also be published in the Official Gazette, confirming her leadership position.
In her new role, Amna Al Suwaidi will concentrate on steering the Future Resources Sector, implementing initiatives involving talent development, workforce planning, and innovative human resource strategies across various Dubai government entities. This appointment highlights the city’s ambition to foster a capable workforce that aligns with Dubai's visionary approach to governance and growth.
Her appointment underscores Dubai’s commitment to enhancing governmental leadership, ensuring initiatives are led by seasoned professionals who can meet the evolving demands of public service and align with global standards.
