Al Dhafra hosted a major employment initiative led by Mawaheb Talent Hub, part of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi. The Open Day drew Emirati professionals and recent graduates seeking opportunities across government, semi-government and private employers.
More than 19 organisations took part, including the Ministry of Education, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, ADNOC, TAQA, SEHA Al Dhafra Hospitals, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, and international firms such as G42 and Rheinmetall. Collectively they presented in excess of 150 vacancies spanning public services, energy, finance, emerging technologies and healthcare.
The event enabled Emirati jobseekers to meet recruiters directly, attend on-site interviews and gather insights into potential career paths. Many participants praised the chance to engage face-to-face with organisations they aim to join.
Mawaheb Talent Hub noted that these initiatives help accelerate recruitment, support professional development and improve job-to-talent matching. Such interventions contribute to a more dynamic and inclusive labour market in Abu Dhabi, with specific focus on the Al Dhafra region.
The Open Day also supports broader policy goals to strengthen Emirati participation across all regions, ensuring citizens can develop meaningful careers close to home while aligning workforce capabilities with the emirate’s evolving economic priorities.
