Al Madinah University in Ajman has established a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Legal Affairs of the Ajman Government to promote collaboration in legal knowledge, innovation, and training while facilitating the exchange of expertise.
This initiative aims to strengthen ties between academic institutions and government entities, enhancing the legal work environment in alignment with modern technological advancements.
The MoU was formalised by Imran Khan and Abdulrahman Ali Hamid Al Shamsi.
Through this agreement, both parties will collaborate on developing institutional capacities and enhancing integration in legal practices via training programmes, workshops, research studies, and sharing best practices within the legal field.
The partnership will also prioritize the development of specialised training courses in advanced legal disciplines, including the application of artificial intelligence in the legal sector, legal drafting, and procedural competencies. These initiatives are specifically designed to align with contemporary legislative trends and legal needs.
In the spirit of cooperation, both entities will examine the creation of a platform for documenting and exchanging legal information, training programmes, and professional resources, aiming for maximum mutual benefit.
To bolster academic and scientific partnerships, both organisations will host an international scientific conference in May, titled “Legislative Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in the United Arab Emirates.” This conference aims to assemble legal experts, researchers, and decision-makers to discuss future innovations in legal services in the UAE.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering innovative, technology-driven solutions within the legal framework to enhance service efficiency and facilitate sustainable cooperation through joint initiatives, training programmes, and expertise sharing.
The signing ceremony was graced by attendees including Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Nasser Al Qahtani, Ahmed Al Fouly, Abdulrahim Hussein, and Salma Sinaran.
