Air Arabia has officially unveiled a new non-stop route connecting Sharjah International Airport with London Gatwick, marking a pivotal expansion in its global network.
Scheduled to start on March 29, 2026, this new service will operate two flights daily, granting travelers enhanced flexibility for journeys between the UAE and the UK.
Adel Al Ali, the Group CEO of Air Arabia, emphasized, “The introduction of our new service to London Gatwick signifies a major milestone in our expansion strategy. This initiative broadens connectivity and showcases our dedication to offering value-oriented travel experiences.”
He continued, “With London Gatwick, we provide our customers—whether for business or leisure—a wider array of affordable, reliable travel choices. We eagerly anticipate welcoming travelers and connecting the UAE directly to the UK.”
Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer at London Gatwick, remarked, “This year has seen an impressive rise in demand for flights to the Middle East, and we are excited to welcome Air Arabia in March. This new connection bridges London and the South East with the historic city of Sharjah and the broader Middle Eastern area.”
The incorporation of London Gatwick into Air Arabia’s network highlights the airline’s ongoing aim to deliver accessible, convenient, and cost-effective travel solutions, promoting increased trade and tourism between the UAE and the UK.
