Zarine Khan, the adored wife of iconic actor Sanjay Khan and mother to well-known designer Sussanne Khan, has sadly passed away at her home in Mumbai early this morning. At the age of 81, she had been struggling with health complications related to aging.

She is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and her children: Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan. Renowned for her elegance and kindness, Zarine was the cornerstone of her family, significantly influencing their lives.

The enchanting love story between Sanjay and Zarine is often recalled with fondness, with the couple first crossing paths at a bus stop before marrying in 1966. Zarine also made a name for herself in cinema, appearing in memorable films like Tere Ghar Ke Saamne and Ek Phool Do Mali.

This year, Sussanne celebrated her mother's 81st birthday with a heartfelt video on Instagram showcasing cherished family moments. She expressed:
"Mama Mia. My My.. what an amazing Mama you are. All that I do and all that I create in my life have to do with the way you formed my heart, my mind and my grit… I am so honoured and grateful to be your little girl. May the Universe always protect you and keep continuing to spread that Love and the smiles you do… Have the most spectacular year!"

Sussanne Khan, a prominent interior designer and daughter of Zarine and Sanjay, was formerly married to Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. The two wed in 2000 after four years of dating and ended their marriage in 2014, yet they remain dedicated co-parents to their two sons, Hrehaan and Hridaan.

Zarine Khan will be remembered not only for her on-screen contributions but also as a devoted mother and guiding influence within her family. Her kindness, empathy, and resilience create a lasting legacy for both her loved ones and anyone fortunate enough to know her.
