WHX Tech 2025: Digital Health Startups Meet Global Investors

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

WHX Tech is a new and important event for the future of digital health. It will bring together new startups, global investors, and senior buyers in the health industry. The event will take place for three days in September this year. WHX Tech is designed to help startups grow and succeed by creating real connections and making a difference in healthcare.

The event is organized by Informa, the team behind WHX Dubai (formerly Arab Health). The first WHX Tech will happen from September 8th to 10th at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It is supported by important health organizations in Dubai like the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and Emirates Health Services (EHS). It is also in partnership with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).

WHX Tech will have special programs for investors and startups. Investors will get a chance to find and support the future of digital health. There will also be a personalized networking program where startups can meet important people and build useful connections. One of the main highlights is the Xcelerate Startup Competition, where 50 startups with ready-to-use digital health technologies will compete.

The startups will show their new ideas in digital health, such as Artificial Intelligence, robotics, and wearable devices. The competition will happen on the first two days of the event, and 12 startups will be chosen to go to the final round on September 10th.

A panel of expert judges will choose the winner called the “Xcelerate Champion of Innovation.” The winner will get $50,000 without giving up any company shares. They will also receive a free stand and sponsorship for the next WHX Tech event in 2026. Other winners will also get free stands and sponsorships to help them grow.

The judges are well-known experts from around the world, including leaders from investment networks and startup groups. More judges will be announced soon.

Solenne Singer, Senior Vice President at Informa, said, “Startups are changing healthcare by solving important problems like staff shortages, making systems work together, and improving access to care. From AI to wearables, these innovators are making diagnosis and treatment better. WHX Tech brings the right people together to help startups grow and lead the future of digital health.”

For startups looking for money, the WHX Tech Investor Programme is a special, invite-only chance to meet top investors, venture capitalists, and family offices who manage billions of dollars. This program runs all three days and offers carefully chosen meetings and chances to get funding.

Mohamad Sabri, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Informa, said, “Startups are the heart of digital health. This program is a rare chance to connect early-stage startups with the money, advice, and partnerships they need to grow fast and improve healthcare.”

There is also the Connections Programme, which helps startups meet senior buyers and decision-makers. This helps startups build strong partnerships and get noticed by healthcare leaders who want new technology.

Mohammed Galeeb, CEO of IDMEDICO, said, “WHX Tech helps startups like ours by giving us a platform to show how we use secure AI digital solutions in healthcare. It helps us overcome challenges in growing and getting our products used. WHX Tech connects us with investors and partners who help us move forward.”

WHX Tech expects more than 300 exhibitors, over 300 expert speakers, and more than 5,000 healthcare leaders from over 30 countries. The event will have three main stages:

  • World X will show real digital health solutions from around the world.

  • Future X will look ahead at new digital health technologies for the next 20 years, like AI and quantum computing.

  • Xcelerate will focus on startups, connecting them with investors and helping them grow to change healthcare.

WHX Tech promises to be an exciting event that helps shape the future of health technology.
