Ulta Beauty, the largest specialty beauty retailer in the United States, is teaming up with Alshaya Group, a well-known international retail franchise operator. They are working together to bring Ulta Beauty stores to the Middle East.
The first two Ulta Beauty stores will open later this year—one in The Avenues Mall in Kuwait and the other in Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. These new stores will give people in the region a chance to explore Ulta Beauty’s famous style of shopping, which offers many popular beauty brands in one fun place.
John Hadden, the CEO of Alshaya Group, shared his excitement, saying:
“We are very happy to let everyone know that Ulta Beauty stores will open in Kuwait and Dubai before the year ends. People in the region are really looking forward to visiting these stores. For the first time, they will be able to enjoy a unique beauty shopping experience and explore some favorite brands that were never available here before.”
Kecia Steelman, the CEO of Ulta Beauty, also shared her thoughts:
“We’re excited to bring our special way of doing beauty business to the Middle East. With the help of Alshaya Group, we’ll start with stores in Kuwait and Dubai. We believe that beauty is something everyone enjoys, no matter where they are. We’re ready to meet a new group of beauty lovers in this region.”
After the first two stores launch, more Ulta Beauty locations are planned to open in other GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries in 2026.
This partnership marks an exciting step for Ulta Beauty’s growth around the world and gives Middle Eastern shoppers access to a wide range of beauty products across many price points and categories—all under one roof.
