UAE-Saudi Ties Strengthen with Trade and Unity

Post by :

The relationship between the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia has grown stronger over the years, with deep bonds of friendship and shared values. Sultan bin Abdullah Al Anqari, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the UAE, recently highlighted these strong ties. He said that the relationship between the two countries is not just about politics or business, but also about shared religion, language, and traditions. These ties are also strengthened by a common vision for the future and a unity of purpose.

The Ambassador explained that both countries are working together on a strategic partnership. This partnership aims to create a better future for the people of both nations and for the wider region. He said that on many political and economic matters, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have similar approaches, making it easier for the two nations to work together.

Economic relations between Saudi Arabia and the UAE have seen strong growth in recent years. The Ambassador revealed that non-oil trade between the two countries reached US$25 billion in the first six months of 2025. This is a significant 21.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024. He added that the UAE’s investments in Saudi Arabia have now exceeded SAR111 billion, showing a growing economic trust between the two nations.

In addition, Saudi Arabia has become the UAE’s third-largest global trading partner and its largest partner among Arab countries. This shows how closely the economies of the two nations are linked and how both are working to strengthen their trade and business cooperation.

The Ambassador also expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership and its people for their warm hospitality. He spoke about the 95th National Day of Saudi Arabia, which was celebrated recently. He said that the UAE’s support and the kindness shown during the celebrations were a source of pride for Saudis. He described the UAE as a country that holds a special place in the hearts of Saudi people.

This strong bond is not just about economic gains. It also reflects a deeper sense of friendship, trust, and shared goals. Both countries are working on projects that can benefit not only their citizens but also the larger Gulf region. Their collaboration is seen in many fields, including infrastructure development, technology, and trade. By working closely together, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are aiming to ensure stability, growth, and prosperity for the region.

Experts believe that the continued cooperation between the UAE and Saudi Arabia will also strengthen the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and enhance the influence of Arab countries on global platforms. Many analysts note that this growing partnership can serve as a model for regional cooperation, showing how neighboring countries with shared values and interests can work together to achieve mutual success.

The Ambassador’s remarks also reflect the diplomatic approach of both nations. They focus on maintaining peace, promoting development, and deepening mutual understanding. This approach is helping both nations to achieve significant economic milestones while keeping cultural and social ties intact.

The UAE and Saudi Arabia’s relationship is built on mutual respect, economic collaboration, and shared traditions. Their growing trade, increased investments, and political alignment show that the two countries are not only partners but also close friends. Citizens of both nations benefit from this unity, and the partnership sets a positive example for the entire region.

With such strong foundations, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are poised to continue their journey together toward shared prosperity, cultural exchange, and regional stability. Their story of collaboration highlights the power of friendship, trust, and a vision for a brighter future for all.
