National Ambulance will deliver emergency medical services at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025, happening at Yas Marina Circuit from December 4th to 7th. This marks the 12th consecutive year of their involvement, underscoring their dedication to safety and preparedness at significant sporting events in the UAE.
For this edition of the Grand Prix, approximately 70 skilled professionals, including doctors, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, as well as command and communication officers, pharmacists, and support staff, will be deployed. The team is stationed throughout the circuit, including the Medical Center, providing comprehensive care for Formula 1 participants and organizers.
Supporting this deployment is a fleet of 14 fully equipped ambulances, prepared to respond swiftly to any medical emergencies that may arise. National Ambulance collaborates closely with partners like the Emirates Motorsport Organisation (EMSO), Yas Marina Circuit, Ethara, and other key stakeholders to ensure integrated medical services.
In addition to the F1 event, National Ambulance offers year-round emergency support at Yas Marina Circuit for a range of activities, including motorsport events, entertainment shows, and community health initiatives. Their ongoing presence upholds a high safety standard for both participants and visitors.
Officials point out that preparation for the Grand Prix entails more than just deploying resources. Regular drills, coordinated communication protocols, and strict procedures are followed to handle various types of medical emergencies. This comprehensive approach enhances the speed of response and overall safety of the event.
By supporting the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix annually, National Ambulance boosts the UAE’s national emergency response capabilities. Their consistent involvement showcases operational excellence and a commitment to maintaining international safety standards at major events.
