UAE Equestrians Excel at DOHA's FEI Regional Group VII Championship

UAE equestrians achieved impressive outcomes at the recently concluded FEI Regional Group VII Final in Doha, Qatar, which emphasized various age categories. They clinched two gold medals individually in both the children’s and juniors’ events while also winning a bronze medal in the young riders’ show jumping category. These accomplishments add to the UAE’s illustrious record in equestrian sports.

Alongside individual accolades, UAE teams garnered gold in both the young riders’ and juniors’ segments. Their remarkable technical performance not only won over the judges but also demonstrated their competency against formidable competitors from other nations. The blend of individual and team triumphs accentuates the UAE’s rising prominence in equestrian sports throughout the Middle East.

Abdullah Al Karbi secured first place in the juniors’ category, while Saif Al Karbi achieved a commendable sixth in the same event. In the children’s segment, Khalid Al Mehairi captured first position, exhibiting notable skill and accuracy. Mohammed Al Ghurair brought home the bronze medal in the young riders’ division. Additional noteworthy performances included Mabkhout Al Karbi achieving fourth place and Alia Al Mehairi finishing fifth, underscoring the team's consistent talent.

Dr. Ghanem Mohammed Al Hajri, the Secretary-General of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, commended the riders for their stellar accomplishments during the Eid Al Etihad festivities. He emphasized that these successes further enhance the UAE's image on the global equestrian stage. According to Dr. Al Hajri, the skills, commitment, and exceptional capabilities demonstrated by the riders reflect the nation’s leadership in international equestrian competitions.
