UAE Dispatches Sixth Round of Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan

The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its sixth round of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, reinforcing its commitment to support communities affected by recent earthquakes.

This latest operation brings the total aid from the UAE to Afghanistan to over 250.3 tonnes, delivered via seven aircraft and 21 relief trucks. The shipment consists of 6,696 food baskets, 1,030 tents, 850 blankets, and a 28-tonne delivery of dates aimed at benefiting families impacted by the disaster.

In Samangan province, the UAE has distributed 1,188 food baskets, 450 tents, and 850 blankets, providing essential relief for those who have lost their homes and means of living due to the calamity. Furthermore, a seventh aircraft has recently arrived with additional dates to bolster the recovery efforts.

These relief initiatives reflect the UAE leadership's directives and emphasize the nation's steadfast dedication to assisting communities mired in natural disasters across the globe. The UAE is distinguished for its proactive role in international humanitarian efforts, delivering timely aid and logistical support during crises.

Through its sustained endeavors in Afghanistan, the UAE embodies its core principles of empathy, solidarity, and global stewardship.
