His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, commemorated 6 May as a day symbolizing pride and patriotism, marking the unification of the UAE Armed Forces.

He remarked that the unification represented a pivotal milestone in the UAE’s history, laying a solid groundwork for national security and stability, facilitating the nation's continuous advancement in various fields on a global scale.

Sheikh Ahmed pointed out that the decision to unify the Armed Forces exemplified the forward-thinking vision of the UAE’s Founding Fathers, who recognized that the nation’s prosperity hinged on a cohesive and robust defense framework.
