Post by : Mara Rahim

In a significant development, the UAE Boxing Federation has formalized a collaboration with the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the Eurasian Boxing Parliament (EBP). This partnership is designed to foster the organization and growth of major boxing championships within the UAE in the near future.

Additionally, the federation has entered a strategic alignment with Sports Service Professional to oversee the management and execution of its tournaments, guaranteeing streamlined operations and high-caliber events.

The announcement took place at a press conference in Abu Dhabi, attended by leading figures from the involved organizations, underlining the importance of this partnership for the boxing sector in the UAE.

At the conference, the WBC President signed the official document confirming the UAE Boxing Federation’s affiliation with the council, granting the federation full rights to administer all boxing-related events and activities throughout the UAE.

Moreover, it was revealed that Abu Dhabi will host the annual WBC conference, marking a pivotal moment for the UAE on the global boxing stage and reflecting the nation’s expanding role in the sport.

These new partnerships are anticipated to elevate the profile of boxing in the region, providing fresh opportunities for athletes, fans, and organizers and facilitating the promotion and talent development within the UAE and beyond.
