His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, engaged with Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama during his official trip to the UAE.
The discussions took place on the sidelines of the Make it in the Emirates 2026 event occurring at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Throughout the dialogue, both leaders explored opportunities to enhance the UAE-Ghana relationship, focusing on economic growth, trade, investment, renewable energy, innovation, technology, and artificial intelligence.
They emphasized their mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral relations that would foster long-term development and prosperity for both nations.
Additionally, the meeting delved into key regional and global matters, especially the prevailing situation in the Middle East and its implications for regional peace and security.
President Mahama vehemently condemned recent Iranian assaults on civilians and civilian infrastructure within the UAE, labeling them as violations of sovereignty and international law, warning that such acts could jeopardize regional stability.
