Travis Scott Rocks Mumbai with Unforgettable Circus Maximus Concert

Post by : Mina Rahman

On November 19, Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse hosted an electrifying event as Travis Scott brought his CIRCUS MAXIMUS World Tour to life. Unlike typical concerts, this performance was a visceral sound experience that fans will remember for years.

The instant he stepped onto the stage, the crowd erupted with fervor, transforming the grounds into a euphoric mix of a mosh pit and a unified celebration, with thousands chanting along and dancing to each beat.

Opening the event was Canadian rapper NAV, whose vibrant performance energized the audience with hits like Lemonade. Nevertheless, it was Travis who elevated the energy, making the atmosphere sharper and incredibly immersive.

Travis showcased some of his most popular songs, including Sicko Mode, Goosebumps, Highest in the Room, Butterfly Effect, Antidote, and FE!N, which he played on repeat as the crowd demanded more. Although the performance lasted just about an hour, fans enthusiastically sang along, creating a powerful blend of sound and excitement.

At one moment, Travis looked out over the throng and encouraged Mumbai to “represent for the entire India,” igniting a sea of glowing phones throughout the venue. Among the most memorable moments was when he brought four fans on stage during Smoke Some, Drink Some, Pop One and Night Crawler. One held up a sign reading “Stormi for President 2040,” with another donning a sherwani, a humorous homage to his past Delhi performances. The energy of the moment was lively, unscripted, yet surprisingly personal.

Initially not scheduled to perform in Mumbai, the overwhelming interest facilitated this addition. The electric atmosphere validated the decision, perhaps elevating the bar for live music events across the nation.

As attendees departed, they were left with hoarse voices and the unmistakable sensation that something monumental had unfolded in Mumbai.
