Renowned Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan and his wife Salma Khan, originally Sushila Charak, joyously commemorated their 61st wedding anniversary on Monday evening. The intimate gathering featured family and friends, with heartfelt moments shared on social media.

Arriving at the venue, Salman Khan greeted photographers with warmth, while his father’s second wife, the iconic actress Helen, dazzled attendees with her charm. Alvira, Salim and Salma's daughter, attended with her husband Atul Agnihotri and their daughter Alizeh.

Among the other notable guests were Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera, Aayush Sharma, husband of Arpita Khan, along with actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, both of whom share a close bond with the Khan family.

Salim Khan is celebrated for his contribution to classic Hindi films such as Sholay and Zanjeer. He and Salma share four children—Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira—alongside their adopted daughter Arpita.

In an interesting turn of events, Salim Khan married the famed dancer-actress Helen in 1981. He described their connection as an “emotional accident,” one that was discussed openly with his children, underlining a foundation of respect and affection for both families.

The trio of Salim, Helen, and Salma Khan often unite for family celebrations and festivals, showcasing a bond fueled by mutual respect. The 61st anniversary affair emphasized the warmth and unity of one of Bollywood’s most esteemed families, delighting fans with glimpses of the festive moments.
