Siraj and Prendergast Named ICC Players of the Month for August

Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been named ICC Player of the Month for August 2025 after his remarkable performance in the fifth and final Test against England. This recognition highlights Siraj’s important role in one of the most thrilling cricket contests of the year. Alongside him, Ireland’s all-rounder Orla Prendergast also won the Player of the Month award for her exceptional contributions in T20 cricket during August.

Prendergast’s performances stood out among her peers, earning her the Player of the Month title ahead of strong contenders like Pakistan’s Muneeba Ali and the Netherlands’ Iris Zwilling.
