Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra Commemorate 16 Years of Togetherness

Post by : Mina Rahman

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra joyfully celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary, posting a delightful video on Instagram that highlights their affection. In the clip, Raj whimsically asks if they should go out for a celebration, instantly lifting Shilpa’s spirits. He playfully spins her around outside, leading to a tender embrace. Shilpa shared, "Happy Sweet 16 to US... still spinning in love, still choosing each other. Here's to always and forever. Happy Anniversary."

Amidst the festivities, Raj emphasized the significance of nurturing their relationship alongside parenting duties. He noted that children eventually move on, hence it’s crucial to prioritize the couple's bond. Highlighting their commitment, Raj mentioned they schedule regular Friday night dates to keep their relationship thriving. He stated, "It's really important that if you are in love, your children will grow up one day, get married, and leave. By then, you will realize that while you were so focused on them, the relationship between you two has faded away. It's very important to prioritize your partner first."

Shilpa and Raj's romance commenced with their engagement in February 2009, culminating in their wedding in November of the same year. They are proud parents to two children: a son, born in May 2012, and a daughter, born through surrogacy in February 2020. Their ongoing love saga is underscored by shared moments and this anniversary video serves as a testament to their playful and enduring connection.
