In one of the year’s most anticipated series, Delhi Crime Season 3, Shefali Shah reprises her role as the determined DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, now facing off against Huma Qureshi’s Badi Didi. Following its release, the show garnered positive reviews, prompting Shah to pen a heartfelt thank-you note to her fans for their unwavering support.

Available for streaming on Netflix, Shefali Shah leads this acclaimed series.

On Instagram, she shared, “The anxiety leading up to Delhi Crime 3’s release was real. This time around, I explored a different side of Vartika. She exhibited both pain and fury but redirected that intensity into the mission of finding the girls. There was little room for bravado; it was about relentless determination to ensure justice.”

She further commented, “I was uncertain if this more subdued version of Vartika would resonate. But as I read the reviews, I felt immense joy and relief. Your love demonstrated that you experienced every moment alongside Vartika and me.”

Shefali concluded, “This experience reminded me of two vital truths: Firstly, we often underestimate the audience’s depth of understanding and empathy. Secondly, I’m incredibly fortunate to receive such love. I am deeply grateful, truly blessed by your support.”

Critics have lauded Shah’s outstanding portrayal, noting, “Shefali Shah delivers a remarkable performance once more. Very few can embody a character with such convincing authenticity, and despite the character's occasional shortcomings, she seamlessly conveys vulnerability.”

Co-produced by Golden Karavan and SK Global Entertainment, Delhi Crime 3 is directed by Tanuj Chopra and features a stellar cast including Sayani Gupta, Mita Vashisht, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Kelly Dorji. The series made its Netflix debut on November 13.
