Shatrughan Sinha Checks on Hema Malini as Dharmendra Recovers

In a heartfelt gesture, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha dropped by Hema Malini’s home shortly after Dharmendra was released from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The visit was filled with camaraderie as Dharmendra continues to recuperate at home.

On Monday, Shatrughan shared two photos on his X handle, featuring himself with Poonam Sinha and Hema Malini. He captioned it:

"Along with my ‘bestest half' @PoonamSinha, went to meet, greet & God bless our dear family friend and one of the greatest artists, @dreamgirlhema. Our sincere prayers are with them, and we also inquired about our elder brother's health and the family’s well-being."

Homeward Bound for Dharmendra

Dharmendra left the hospital on November 12 after receiving care since October 31. His physician confirmed that he will now continue his recovery at home with family support.

"Dharmendraji was discharged around 7:30 a.m. and will now receive home care as decided by the family," stated the doctor.

The family also issued a statement requesting privacy during this sensitive time:

"Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged and will be recovering at home. We kindly ask the media and public to refrain from speculation and respect his and the family’s privacy. We are grateful for the love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, health, and longevity. Please respect him as he cherishes you all."

The Bond of Friendship in Bollywood

Dharmendra, a legendary figure in Indian cinema, is celebrated for iconic films like Sholay, Dharam Veer, and Dream Girl. He was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

His upcoming movie, Ikkis, also features Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, with a release date set for December 25.
