Shaikh Nasser Departs Russia After SPIEF 2025 Visit

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has completed his visit to the Russian Federation. He was in Russia to represent Bahrain at the 2025 Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), where Bahrain was invited as the official Guest of Honour.

The theme of this year’s forum was “Shared Values: The Foundation of Growth in a Multipolar World.” The event focused on how countries with different systems can still work together by sharing common values to support global growth and cooperation.

Before leaving Russia, Shaikh Nasser thanked President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation. He expressed his deep appreciation for the warm welcome and the opportunity for Bahrain to take part in such an important international forum.

His Highness said that Bahrain’s participation at SPIEF 2025 showed the strong and growing friendship between Bahrain and Russia. He also said that this reflects the deep historical ties and the continued efforts of both countries to work together in many different areas, including business, youth development, and humanitarian efforts.

This visit highlights Bahrain’s important role on the global stage and its commitment to building stronger partnerships around the world.
