In a landmark meeting in Jeddah, Sheikh Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, welcomed Sheikh Nayabagabo Salum, the Grand Mufti of Burundi. This dialogue aimed at bolstering partnerships and enhancing collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Burundi within Islamic spheres. It underscores the Kingdom's ongoing dedication to uplifting Muslim communities globally by fostering unity, understanding, and peaceful religious practices.

The discussion saw both leaders delve into several mutual points of interest, particularly improving support for dawah initiatives in Burundi. These programs are geared towards disseminating the peaceful teachings of Islam, providing knowledge to communities, and instilling positive values among Muslims. The Saudi representatives expressed their commitment to continuing support with expertise, training, and resources to strengthen these crucial initiatives, especially for nations aspiring to build sustainable religious education.
