This dialogue aimed at bolstering partnerships and enhancing collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Burundi within Islamic spheres. It underscores the Kingdom's ongoing dedication to uplifting Muslim communities globally by fostering unity, understanding, and peaceful religious practices.

The discussion saw both leaders delve into several mutual points of interest, particularly improving support for dawah initiatives in Burundi. These programs are geared towards disseminating the peaceful teachings of Islam, providing knowledge to communities, and instilling positive values among Muslims. The Saudi representatives expressed their commitment to continuing support with expertise, training, and resources to strengthen these crucial initiatives, especially for nations aspiring to build sustainable religious education.

Promoting moderation and tolerance emerged as another significant topic during the meeting. Saudi Arabia prioritizes global dissemination of these principles through various initiatives and collaborations. Sheikh Nayabagabo Salum acknowledged the positive impact these efforts have on Muslim communities, with both sides emphasizing that nurturing moderation is vital for directing youth away from extremism and fostering healthy spiritual growth.

The meeting further explored enhancing Islamic initiatives in Burundi, which includes fortifying religious institutions, providing training for imams and scholars, and aiding in the development of educational resources. The Grand Mufti expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia's enduring commitment to supporting developing nations in bolstering their religious services.
