The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, alongside Syria's Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar, toured the Ministry of Interior's pavilion during the third annual Made in Saudi Expo 2025, taking place from December 15 to 17 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham. This visit underscores the commitment to bolster local industries while enhancing national capabilities in defense, technology, and security.

Throughout their tour, the ministers assessed projects focused on the localization of defense expenditures and technological advancements, alongside the promotion of Saudi-produced goods. They examined the Saudi armored vehicle “Al-Dahna,” the electronic platform “Absher,” and the “ASEF II” drone, which plays a pivotal role in sustaining environmental security.

Additionally, they observed electronic services tailored for citizens, residents, and visitors, illustrating the positive impact of digital solutions in facilitating access to governmental services. They evaluated significant development initiatives within the ministry and its various security sectors, highlighting the nation’s dedication to innovation, safety, and operational efficiency.

This visit serves as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s ongoing endeavors to advance local industries and foster sophisticated security and technological solutions. The dialogue with Syrian officials emphasized the critical nature of regional cooperation and knowledge exchange regarding defense, environmental preservation, and digital governmental services.

Through such initiatives, the Ministry of Interior remains at the forefront of promoting national products, enhancing security technologies, and providing cutting-edge services for the public, all while propelling industrial development across Saudi Arabia.
