Salman Khan to Mark His 60th Birthday with a Special Update on ‘Battle of Galwan’

Post by : Saif Nasser

Salman Khan is set to celebrate a major milestone as he turns 60 on December 27, and fans across the world are eagerly waiting to see how the Bollywood star marks the occasion. According to sources close to the actor, Salman plans to make his birthday even more special by sharing an important update about his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan.

The update is expected to be revealed on his birthday afternoon, between 2 PM and 4 PM. While the makers have kept details under wraps, the announcement is likely to include a key visual or promotional material from the film. This move is seen as a gift to Salman’s loyal fan base, which has supported him throughout his long and successful career.

Battle of Galwan is a patriotic drama inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. The incident, which took place at a high altitude in eastern Ladakh, is remembered as one of the most intense and challenging military encounters in recent history. The film aims to highlight the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of Indian soldiers who fought under extreme conditions without firing a single bullet.

Salman Khan had earlier introduced his character from the film in September by sharing the first look on social media. The image showed him dressed in an Indian Army uniform, wearing a thick moustache and carrying a serious, determined expression. A clapperboard partially covered his face, signalling the beginning of filming and creating strong excitement among fans.

Earlier this year, Salman also shared a poster from the film that left a powerful impact. The poster showed his face marked with bloodstains, reflecting the harsh reality of battle. The motion poster carried a striking line that described the fight as India’s most brutal battle fought at over 15,000 feet above sea level without the use of guns. This message underlined the physical and emotional strength required by soldiers during the clash.

The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and features actor Chitrangda Singh opposite Salman Khan. While the release date has not yet been announced, expectations are already high. Many believe this project could be one of Salman’s most intense and meaningful roles, different from his usual action and commercial films.

As Salman Khan steps into his 60s, his continued commitment to challenging roles and patriotic stories shows his desire to connect with audiences in new ways. The birthday update on Battle of Galwan is expected to add to the excitement and remind fans why Salman remains one of the most influential stars in Indian cinema.
