Bollywood Icon Salman Khan Unveils Ambitious Township Project in Telangana

Post by : Mara Rahim

Renowned Bollywood actor Salman Khan has revealed plans for a significant investment in Telangana through his venture, Salman Khan Ventures. This initiative aims to establish a ₹10,000 crore township, including a cutting-edge film studio in the state. The announcement occurred during the Telangana Rising Global Summit, designed to draw substantial investments and aid the state’s vision of emerging as a $3 trillion economy.

At the core of this ambitious project lies a state-of-the-art film studio catering to movies, OTT productions, and large-scale projects. It will offer post-production services, VFX assistance, and training programs for aspiring talent. This venture represents the first instance of a Bollywood personality launching such a studio in Telangana, positioning the state as an emerging epicenter for the media and entertainment industries.

The planned township will encompass around 500 acres, creating a modern and self-sufficient locality. It will include high-end residences, commercial hubs, luxury hotels, shopping complexes, and recreational areas. Besides, amenities such as a golf course, race track, nature trails, and shooting ranges are integrated into the design. The project is projected to enhance tourism and generate thousands of job opportunities for the local community.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy hailed the investment as a significant milestone for the creative sector. The government has committed to providing comprehensive support with necessary approvals, land arrangements, and infrastructural connectivity. Additionally, the summit witnessed several major MoUs totaling ₹2.43 lakh crore, including substantial investments from Reliance Vantara, Trump Media, Brookfield Axis Ventures, and GMR Group. These events underscore Telangana’s emerging status as a robust and attractive investment hub.
