Xiaomi's sub-brand has announced the imminent release of the Redmi Note 15 series, with the standard Redmi Note 15 leading the way in India. This smartphone is slated for a launch in the first week of January 2026, followed by the Pro and Pro Plus editions at a later date. The company has teased certain standout features, particularly highlighting its robust camera capabilities.

Scheduled for January 6, the Redmi Note 15 will be purchasable via Amazon, Xiaomi's official website, and various offline retailers nationwide. Further specifics are anticipated as the launch date approaches.

Leaked details suggest the device will boast a sizable 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. This display is expected to showcase impressive brightness levels, supplemented by Gorilla Glass for added protection, ensuring an exceptional viewing experience.

On the performance front, the Redmi Note 15 is likely to be driven by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, with options for up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. A robust 5,520mAh battery is expected, featuring 45W fast charging capabilities and an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance.

For photography enthusiasts, the Redmi Note 15 is rumored to come with a 108MP main camera equipped with optical image stabilization. Selfie lovers can expect a 20MP front-facing camera for crisp images and video calls.

Insider reports indicate that the anticipated starting price for the Redmi Note 15 in India could be Rs 22,999 for the 128GB variant with 8GB RAM. The higher-end model with 256GB storage may retail around Rs 24,999, although these figures remain unofficial and may fluctuate by launch.
