In a noteworthy achievement, Russia has launched the Progress MS-34 cargo spacecraft destined for the International Space Station (ISS), carrying essential supplies exceeding 2.5 tonnes.
The launch took place at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, as reported by Roscosmos, marking another step in ongoing ISS support.
Among the cargo are 1,348 kg of provisions in the pressurized module, which includes 483 kg of food, 333 kg of personal care products, 311 kg intended for upgrades and repairs, 146 kg of personal protective gear, and 75 kg dedicated to medical and scientific uses.
In addition, the spacecraft’s refueling section carries vital supplies including 700 kg of propellant, 420 kg of water, and 50 kg of oxygen.
A significant item on board is the Orlan-MKS suit No. 8, which will facilitate expeditions outside the Russian segment of the station.
The Progress MS-34 is expected to achieve docking with the ISS's Zvezda module on April 28 at approximately 12:01 a.m. GMT.
