The anticipation for SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited film Varanasi has reached new heights following the unveiling of its teaser. In the wake of its release, the film's prominent stars—Priyanka Chopra, Mahesh Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran—embarked on a global promotional journey with international media outlets. Recently, Priyanka shared captivating images from this tour, sparking considerable interest on social platforms.

In one of the snapshots, she captures a joyful selfie with Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj. Another image features the trio posing together, showcasing their camaraderie. Priyanka donned an elegant black sheer top paired with a stylish skirt for the event, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to work with two distinguished actors from the Telugu and Malayalam film industries in a Rajamouli project.

While discussing her promotional efforts nearly a year ahead of the film's release, Priyanka conveyed her excitement. She noted that the favorable feedback from the international press has significantly lifted the team's spirits, instilling hope that they can meet viewer expectations.

During the teaser launch in Hyderabad, Priyanka remarked on Prithviraj's portrayal as a menacing villain, contrasting it with his kind and humble nature off-screen. She extended her appreciation to Mahesh Babu and her family for introducing her to the rich culture of Hyderabad and for their hospitality throughout filming.

In Varanasi, Mahesh Babu stars as Rudhra, Priyanka plays Mandakini, and Prithviraj assumes the role of Kumbha. Although the teaser keeps the full plot under wraps, fans speculate about a possible time travel theme. Additionally, Rajamouli disclosed that Mahesh Babu will portray Lord Rama in a special sequence, which he regards as one of the most memorable scenes he has ever envisioned.

Set to hit theaters during Sankranthi 2027, Varanasi promises to be a grand cinematic experience.
