Filming of Prabhas' Spirit Set to Kick Off in November 2025

The much-awaited film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and featuring Prabhas, is gearing up to start shooting at the end of November 2025. This announcement was made during the pre-release function of the Telugu film Jigris, igniting enthusiasm among both fans and industry insiders.

There was speculation surrounding South legend Chiranjeevi joining the cast as Prabhas' father, but Sandeep Reddy Vanga has put those rumors to rest, confirming Chiranjeevi will not appear in the film.

In Spirit, Prabhas will portray a former IPS officer, and reports indicate that he has embraced a notable transformation for the role, shedding weight to suit the character's portrayal. A thorough look test is also planned to ensure his appearance meets the director’s ambitions.

The plot follows Prabhas' character as he navigates life in prison, overseen by a strict warden portrayed by Prakash Raj. The teaser hints at riveting showdowns and a storyline deeply rooted in justice, discipline, and personal redemption.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga introduced a unique promotional strategy by unveiling a "sound-story" teaser on Prabhas’ birthday earlier this year. This teaser, devoid of traditional visuals, embraces immersive audio experiences and is available in five Indian languages, strengthened by a compelling score by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.

Key moments in the teaser showcase Prabhas’ character as a devoted IPS officer combating unforeseen obstacles. A particularly memorable quote from the teaser encapsulates the narrative's tension: "I have had just one bad habit since childhood," showcasing the intensity synonymous with Vanga's filmmaking style.

Triptii Dimri stars as the leading actress alongside a seasoned ensemble that includes Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana, promising powerful performances throughout.
