Poco is ready to unveil its eagerly awaited F8 series, with a global launch event slated for November 26 in Bali, Indonesia. The specifics have largely been kept concealed, but industry leaks suggest that the lineup will introduce the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, expected global counterparts to Xiaomi’s recently unveiled Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max in China.
Design and Specs
Sources indicate that both F8 models will follow the design and essential specs of their Chinese versions, with slight modifications including battery enhancements. Anticipations are high for the Poco F8 Pro, which is likely to operate with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, whereas the F8 Ultra could host the advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, delivering exceptional performance for gaming and multitasking.
Display and Sound
The F8 Ultra is speculated to feature a 6.9-inch OLED screen, while the standard F8 might sport a 6.59-inch OLED display. Both are expected to support 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, aligning well with top-tier Android requirements. Additionally, audio enhancements are anticipated, with the Ultra model likely including an additional rear speaker alongside the existing top and bottom speakers for improved multimedia experiences.
Camera Features
Camera enhancements stand out for the F8 Ultra, which may include a triple-camera arrangement at the back featuring a 50-megapixel primary lens, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto lenses. For selfie lovers and video conferencing, a 20-megapixel front-facing camera is likely.
Charging and Connectivity
Both models are expected to offer 100W wired fast charging, with the F8 Ultra possibly supporting 50W wireless charging. These features aim to minimize downtime and enhance the user experience for tech enthusiasts.
Release in India and Price
Though Poco has confirmed the global launch, details about the India release are still pending. Following market trends, a launch in India could occur a few weeks post the international event, potentially in early 2026. Although pricing information is under wraps, the F8 series is projected to position itself against premium Android models like the OnePlus 15, Oppo Find X9 series, and Vivo X300.
