Actress Nidhhi Agerwal found herself in a perilous situation while departing from the song launch event for the film The Raja Saab in Hyderabad. This incident took place on Wednesday when a throng of fans encircled her as she exited Lulu Mall. Numerous videos depicting the actress being escorted by security personnel to her vehicle have rapidly circulated online, sparking significant public backlash.

The occasion was held to unveil the song Sahana Sahana from the much-anticipated Prabhas film, which has garnered attention since its announcement. Although the event commenced on a joyous note, chaos ensued when attendees surged towards Nidhhi in an attempt to capture selfies, bypassing security measures.

In the widely shared footage, the actress can be seen grappling to get through as the crowd presses in. She appeared noticeably unsettled, clutching her dupatta tightly, while security attempted to push back fans and clear a pathway for her safe exit. Many observers found the scene disconcerting and unsafe.

The occurrence ignited strong reactions online, with numerous individuals condemning the unruly conduct of the crowd. Critics raised concerns about inadequate crowd control and the security protocols at such public events featuring celebrities. People voiced that such incidents underscore the urgent need for enhanced safety protocols, particularly for female stars.

Singer Chinmayi Sripada also voiced her outrage about the incident on social media. She denounced the behaviour of the men involved and expressed indignation over the harassment faced by a woman, stressing the necessity for serious introspection regarding such actions.

Currently, Nidhhi Agerwal has not issued any public comment regarding the incident. Nevertheless, this event has once again highlighted the pressing issues of celebrity safety, fan conduct, and event management standards in India.
