In a recent announcement, Qatar's Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has detailed the operational hours for government healthcare services during the Eid Al Adha holiday period.
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will maintain 24/7 emergency and inpatient services throughout the holiday. Both ambulance services and Paediatric Emergency Centers will be available around the clock.
Blood donations can be made at the Qatar National Blood Donation Center on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
During Eid, 21 health centers under the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will stay operational. Urgent care services will run continuously at 15 centers, including those catering specifically to children's urgent needs.
MoPH has mandated all government healthcare facilities to publish detailed service schedules for the holiday period.
Additionally, the operating hours for various MoPH departments have been shared. Visitors can reach the Medical Relations and Treatment Abroad Department at ministry headquarters from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, excluding the first day of Eid and Fridays and Saturdays.
The Newborn Registration Office at the Women’s Wellness and Research Center will welcome visitors from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm throughout Eid, except the first day and on Fridays and Saturdays.
Furthermore, the Death Registration Unit at the Unified Humanitarian Services Office will accept visitors daily between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm during the Eid holiday.
The Unified Healthcare Sector Contact Center (16000) will remain accessible 24/7 for any inquiries.
