In a thrilling new development, Masters Historic Racing will make its inaugural appearance at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, showcasing a remarkable selection of classic 3-litre era automobiles. As an official support event, spectators will enjoy the rare chance to witness these iconic machines compete on one of the planet's premier racetracks.

The lineup will highlight cars from the celebrated 1966–1985 era, with the Masters Racing Legends grid offering a genuine homage to motorsport heritage. This impressive assembly will feature ground-effect vehicles, DFV-powered models, and some of the most renowned designs in Formula 1 history, providing fans with a nostalgic glimpse into the golden era of racing innovation. Notable drivers such as former F1 champion Thierry Boutsen, Le Mans podium finisher Jann Mardenborough, esteemed French commentator Julien Febreau, ELMS titleholder Oliver James Webb, and WEC champion Stuart Hall will all be participating.

During the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, races will include free practice and qualifying sessions, culminating in two thrilling races illuminated by the illustrious Yas Marina lights. Enthusiasts can observe these classic cars in action during practice on Friday, December 5, with qualifying and races scheduled for December 6 and 7.
