Manika Vishwakarma Expresses Condolences for Delhi Blast Victims

Post by : Mina Rahman

In the wake of the tragic explosion near Red Fort in Delhi, Manika Vishwakarma, India’s representative for Miss Universe 2025, has publicly expressed her sorrow for those affected. On November 11, she took to Instagram to articulate her shock and heartbreak regarding this distressing incident that has left the nation in mourning.

A Tribute to Delhi and Its Resilience

In her poignant message, Manika conveyed,

“To my dear Delhi, and every family impacted by this recent tragedy, my heart is heavy. The news of the bomb explosion in our cherished capital has sent ripples of grief throughout the country.”

She offered her prayers for the victims' families and wished a speedy recovery for those injured. Manika also commended the courage of first responders and highlighted the resilient spirit of the people of Delhi, emphasizing that this strength epitomizes the indomitable spirit of India.

“Together, We Will Overcome”

Crowned Miss Universe India 2025 earlier this year, Manika stressed that her title goes beyond glamour and pageantry.

“Holding the title of Miss Universe India is a significant responsibility for me. It provides a platform to advocate for unity, peace, and empathy, especially in times of national sorrow. Today, I raise my voice to declare: we shall not be divided. We will support each other and heal as one community.”

Manika called upon citizens to prioritize unity over fear and embrace hope rather than despair, inspiring everyone to honor the victims by remaining steadfast and united.

Having been crowned Miss Universe India 2025 on August 18, 2025, she is poised to represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand on November 21, 2025.

With her grace and heartfelt messages, Manika continues to motivate her supporters, reminding all that empathy and unity exemplify the true beauty of India.
