Television star Mahhi Vij has been hospitalized owing to a high fever and severe weakness. Her PR team made the announcement by sharing a photograph of her resting in a hospital bed, bundled in a warm blanket.

Her publicist revealed, “Mahhi is experiencing a high fever and significant weakness; she has just been admitted for observation, and the doctor will conduct tests shortly. She is stable for now.”

This health update comes against the backdrop of rumors concerning a potential rift between her and husband, actor Jay Bhanushali. Married since 2011, the couple previously shared moments from their family life on social media, but recent speculation has captured public interest.

Amid the swirling gossip, Jay recently posted a story backing Mahhi’s forthcoming show, Seher, stating, “Looking forward to Mahhi Vij shining. It looks promising.” Mahhi later shared the post without any additional commentary, eliciting varied reactions from their fans.

In response to the ongoing speculation, Mahhi explicitly condemned the rumors. She addressed a social media platform that disseminated misinformation about her relationship with Jay, asserting, “Refrain from posting false narratives. I will pursue legal action if this continues.”

Recently, Jay was photographed enjoying a vacation in Japan with their daughters, Tara Bhanushali and Khushi Ray, during a ten-day trip. Observers noted Mahhi’s absence from this family outing. Simultaneously, she posted a video expressing her longing to see her children, omitting any mention of Jay—an omission that did not go unnoticed by their followers.

Jay and Mahhi welcomed their biological daughter, Tara, in 2019, and have committed to being foster parents to their caretaker's children, Khushi and Rajveer, showcasing their dedication to family.

The couple began their journey in the entertainment sector, dating prior to their marriage in 2011. Over the years, they have been celebrated as one of television’s most cherished pairs, admired for their on-screen and off-screen chemistry.
