Mahesh Babu’s Fitness Journey Gains Attention Ahead of Varanasi

Post by : Saif Nasser

Mahesh Babu is once again in the spotlight, not just for his forthcoming film, but also for his remarkable fitness at the age of 50. The actor is gearing up for SS Rajamouli’s epic film Varanasi, officially announced at a grand event in Hyderabad on November 15. The event attracted numerous stars, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, making it a highlight of the week. The first look of Mahesh Babu as “Rudhra” was also unveiled, with fans taking to social media to comment on how he resembles someone much younger than his years.

This surge in online remarks has reignited discussions about Mahesh Babu’s rigorous fitness regime and healthy eating practices, which he has maintained for years. His youthful look is not due to quick fixes or fad diets, but stems from a consistent daily routine upheld over time. Those who know him affirm that his unwavering discipline sets him apart from many peers in the industry.

Mahesh Babu’s trainer, Kumar Mannava, elaborated on how the actor incorporates fitness as a core element of his lifestyle. Mannava emphasized that Mahesh views workouts as a year-round commitment rather than a temporary measure for his film roles. He noted Mahesh's dedication to valuing his body and nurturing it daily.

His five-day workout program focuses on different muscle groups each day, allowing for concentrated strength building. On regular days, he dedicates about an hour to training, while more rigorous sessions can extend to ninety minutes. He consistently concludes his workouts with extensive stretching, which helps him maintain flexibility and combats stiffness, a common issue many actors face as they age. This routine is essential for keeping him fit, strong, and energized, even at 50.

Mahesh’s diet mirrors the simplicity of his workout regimen. He steers clear of trendy diets or extreme eating habits, opting instead for clean meals that provide steady energy. His nutritional intake consists of five to six smaller meals daily, including two supplement shakes that ensure he receives necessary nutrients without excessive caloric intake.

Breakfast usually includes oats, eggs, nuts, and fruits, providing a wholesome start with protein, healthy fats, and fiber. Post-workout, he has a protein shake to aid recovery. For lunch, he typically consumes chicken, lamb, or fish paired with brown rice, quinoa, or khus khus, delivering both protein and healthy carbs. Dinner is uncomplicated as well, often comprising whole-wheat or brown bread with eggs or chicken to ensure his body receives balanced nourishment.

Thanks to his disciplined approach, Mahesh remains lean and fit throughout the year, avoiding last-minute transformations for roles. This dedication was evident as fans were impressed by his youthful and energetic appearance at the Hyderabad event.

As enthusiasm builds around Varanasi, Mahesh’s portrayal as Rudhra has sparked considerable excitement. His commitment to fitness and a balanced lifestyle serves as an inspiration to many fans, who admire not only his acting but also his self-discipline. His routine illustrates that achieving fitness doesn't necessitate extreme measures—what it truly requires is consistency, nutritious eating, and self-respect.

The lead-up to the release of Varanasi has merely begun, but Mahesh Babu’s health and fitness revelations are already making waves. His journey serves as a poignant reminder that aging can be managed gracefully through sound habits and enduring discipline.
