For nearly a century, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has captivated audiences nationwide. This year marks the 99th event, which takes place on Thursday, November 27, showcasing mesmerizing floats, towering balloons, and beloved cultural symbols.

A preview at Macy’s Parade Studio in Moonachie, N.J., highlighted thrilling new attractions, such as Pop Mart’s Labubu and Mokoko depicted on a vibrant new float.

Brendan Kennedy, Macy’s Director of Creative Production, revealed, “A float representing Stranger Things will feature the Hawkins National Laboratory, along with an impressive eight-and-a-half-foot-tall Demogorgon. Stay alert!”

This year, seven magnificent floats will grace the parade route: The Land of Glaciers, Wildlife & Wonder by Holland America Line, Brick-tastic Winter Mountain by The LEGO Group, Master Chocolatier Ballroom by Lindt, Upside Down Invasion: Stranger Things by Netflix, Friends-giving in POPCITY by Pop Mart, The Counting Sheep's Dream Generator by Serta, and The Littlest Float from Goldfish.

Kennedy emphasized the impact of pop culture on this year’s parade, stating, “This event reflects the trends and happenings, continuously striving to elevate the parade experience.”

Among the five new giant balloons debuting this year are Buzz Lightyear, PAC-MAN, Shrek’s Onion Carriage, Mario, and Netflix’s K-Pop Demon Hunters' Derpy Tiger. Additionally, a Sussie balloonicle will make its way through the route, enhancing the lively atmosphere.

Labubu and Lacoco will break records as the first 16-foot inflatable furry balloons to grace Macy’s parade, showcasing the creativity and evolution of this cherished holiday event.
