The team behind Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, featuring the beloved actor and comedian Kapil Sharma, has confirmed its re-release in cinemas slated for January 2026. This decision follows positive feedback from audiences, despite the film facing hurdles during its initial release.
Directed by Anukalp Goswami, the film includes performances by Ayesha Khan, Tridha Choudhury, Warina Hussain, and Parul Gulati. Initially launched on December 12, the movie struggled to find adequate theatre screens due to fierce competition from other popular films.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 explores the life of Mohan, portrayed by Kapil Sharma, who is eager to marry his girlfriend Sania. Unfortunately, familial expectations and religious constraints lead him into a comedic predicament where he ends up marrying three women — Meera, Ruhi, and Jenny — each representing different cultures and identities. The film cleverly uses humor to address societal norms and the chaos surrounding multiple marriages.
Despite a limited theatre presence, audience reactions remained positive, notably praising Sharma's comedic timing and the engaging narrative. In light of this, producer Ratan Jain has opted to revisit the film and provide it with a second chance in hopes of reaching a broader audience during its re-release.
This sequel follows the successful 2015 film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which marked Kapil Sharma's entry into Bollywood. The original, directed by Abbas–Mustan, featured notable actresses such as Sai Lokur, Manjari Fadnis, Elli Avram, and Simran Kaur Mundi alongside Sharma and was well-received, becoming a hit comedy.
With its impending re-release, the creators are optimistic that Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 will capture the attention of new viewers and achieve the recognition it deserved during its first showing.
