Kiku Sharda Highlights Kapil Sharma's Newfound Punctuality

Post by : Mina Rahman

Kiku Sharda, a prominent figure in Kapil Sharma’s comedy ensemble, recently discussed a significant transformation he has observed in Kapil's approach to timeliness. Traditionally recognized for his role as Bumper Lottery, Kiku noted that Kapil has become remarkably punctual— a stark contrast to past habits.

During a podcast, Kiku highlighted that the entire crew, including Kapil, now adheres to a strict schedule. He remarked on how claims regarding Kapil's tardiness have become a thing of the past, stating that even a 15-minute delay now bothers him greatly due to the show's stringent timelines.

This dialogue evoked memories of when Amitabh Bachchan humorously teased Kapil about his notorious late entrances, suggesting he would arrive hours late even for a noon call. While Kapil laughed off the jest then, Kiku’s insights indicate a notable evolution in his colleague's work habits.

Additionally, Kiku addressed swirling gossip about his potential exit from The Great Indian Kapil Show, which escalated following his appearance on the reality show Rise & Fall. He clarified that his period of isolation during the show’s filming left him unaware of the rumor mill churning outside.

After being voted off the reality competition, Kiku was informed of the widespread speculation regarding his departure. He firmly denied these allegations, asserting that his bond with Kapil Sharma has lasted over 13 years and remains strong. Kiku has prioritized staying with the show, turning down various offers to maintain his role because of his affection for the team.

He reassured fans of his commitment to the series, emphasizing that he intends to contribute as long as the show continues. Kiku stressed that the show's achievements stem from collective efforts among all the comedians and artists involved.
