In Abu Dhabi, the Kenyan Embassy in the UAE hosted a memorable event on Thursday dedicated to celebrating Kenya's Independence Day. This gathering drew diplomats, officials, and distinguished guests to commemorate the significant occasion and underscore the strengthening bond between Kenya and the UAE.
The celebration was graced by Sultan Al Shamsi, the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations, alongside various representatives from the Arab and foreign diplomatic community residing in the UAE. Their attendance showcased the vibrant and expanding cooperation existing between both nations.
Kenya's Ambassador to the UAE, Kenneth Milimo Nganga, conveyed pride in the exceptional relations enjoyed with the UAE, emphasizing Kenya's resolve to leverage all potential opportunities for enhancing these connections to benefit both countries and foster the welfare and advancement of their populations.
The evening highlighted the necessity for ongoing collaboration and aligned aspirations that both countries seek to fulfill within their developmental goals, cooperation efforts, and international partnerships. Moreover, it reaffirmed Kenya's commitment to broadening its bilateral relations with the UAE in the future.
