Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan has captured a delightful selfie with Hollywood icon Johnny Depp, much to the joy of fans. Their chance meeting took place at the Red Sea Film Festival, commencing on December 4 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and running until December 13.

In the snapshot, Kartik sports his trademark playful smile, while Johnny Depp appears laid-back in his signature beanie and sunglasses, cigar in hand. Kartik added a cheeky caption: "Pirates of the Red Sea JackSparrow x RoohBaba, @johnnydepp," alluding to their memorable characters—Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and Rooh Baba from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and 3.

The post ignited excitement among fans and fellow celebrities, with choreographer Remo D’Souza dropping red heart emojis, singer Sophie Choudry adding heart-eyed and raised-hands emojis, and actor Kunal Bakshi exclaiming, “Wowww.”

On the professional front, Kartik has an impressive lineup ahead. He will soon be seen in the romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, featuring Ananya Panday, Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, and Tiku Talsania, releasing on December 25.

Moreover, he is slated to star in Naagzilla, portraying a shape-shifting naag in a fantasy adventure directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, produced by Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.

In addition, Kartik is set to lead the third installment of Anurag Basu's romantic Aashiqui series, which will also showcase Telugu actress Sreeleela in her Bollywood debut.
