Kandi Burruss, a former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has announced her separation from husband Todd Tucker after 11 years of marriage.
In her statement, Burruss expressed, "After much reflection and prayer, I’ve decided to proceed with a divorce. This is an emotional and challenging time, but my priority is to maintain my peace, be a devoted mother, and co-parent with kindness. I am entering a new phase, focusing on my career, family, and personal growth. I appreciate all the support we've received and request privacy and understanding as we go through this family transition."
Burruss, 49, and Tucker, 52, first met while filming the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2011. They got engaged in January 2013 and tied the knot in April 2014. They share two kids: son Ace, aged 9, and daughter Blaze, aged 5, alongside Burruss's daughter Riley, 23, and Tucker’s daughter Kaela, 29, from previous relationships.
Their prenup raised some tensions prior to their marriage, particularly when Tucker raised concerns about certain stipulations that included vacating their home within 30 days if their union dissolved, to which Burruss responded, "You receive what you receive, and I receive what I receive." Despite these disagreements, they enjoyed over a decade together.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Burruss's net worth is estimated at $30 million, while Tucker's stands at around $400,000.
