Italy is set to make a powerful mark at ADIPEC 2025, one of the world’s largest energy exhibitions, taking place at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi from November 3 to 6, 2025. The country will participate with a dedicated Italian Pavilion, organised by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in collaboration with major industry associations including ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica Varia, ANIMP, FEDERTEC, Federazione ANIE, and supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
This year, the Italian Pavilion will feature 40 leading companies presenting the latest technologies across the oil, gas, and energy transition sectors. From advanced engineering systems to sustainable manufacturing solutions, Italy aims to highlight its expanding role as a reliable and innovative energy partner for the UAE and the wider Gulf region.
Recent trade figures underline this growing partnership. According to TDM Trade Data Monitor, Italy’s exports of oil and gas technologies to the UAE surged 45.9% in 2024, reaching €292.2 million, compared to €200.2 million in 2023. This growth has pushed Italy’s share of the UAE’s total oil and gas equipment imports to 8.33%, rising further to 9.8% in the first half of 2025.
The UAE continues to stand among Italy’s most important trading partners in the Gulf, driven by increasing demand for high-quality, efficient, and sustainable “Made in Italy” energy solutions. Data from ANIMA Confindustria also shows that Italy’s total exports in the global oil and gas sector hit €17.65 billion in 2024, a 6.6% increase year-on-year.
At ADIPEC 2025, visitors to the Italian Pavilion will experience a range of cutting-edge solutions covering the full energy spectrum — from pipeline systems, valves, and compressors to LNG infrastructure and industrial automation. The participation marks a new milestone in Italy’s presence at ADIPEC, showcasing not just innovation and technology, but a shared commitment with the UAE to a sustainable and diversified energy future.
Italy’s participation this year represents more than just an exhibition — it stands as a symbol of trust, technological leadership, and long-term cooperation in shaping the global energy landscape.
