Isha Ambani Hosts LACMA Board Members at Lavish Dinner in Mumbai

Post by : Mina Rahman

This week, the magnificent Antilia in Mumbai was the backdrop for a sumptuous dinner hosted by Isha Ambani, honoring the trustees of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). The evening was a blend of sophistication and warm hospitality, underlining Isha's keen fashion sense.

As a newly appointed trustee, Isha Ambani opted for a subtle yet stylish look in a brown pantsuit, her hair elegantly styled in a bun. Her minimalistic choice of stud earrings elevated her poised and refined appearance.

Her fashion statements have garnered attention lately. On November 10, she co-hosted the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Dinner in New York alongside notable figures like Zac Posen and Anna Wintour. For that event, she dazzled in a deep wine-purple outfit featuring a corseted top and a chic cropped blazer accentuated by a sparkly button, paired with a tailored pencil skirt, finished with an eye-catching jewelled belt.

This dinner coincided with a pivotal moment for LACMA, announcing the induction of five new board members: Isha Ambani, David Kaplan, Wendi Murdoch, Andy Song, and Maggie Tsai. With these appointments, LACMA now has 58 voting trustees, alongside eight esteemed life trustees, boasting a diverse representation from retail, digital media, finance, and entertainment sectors across the Pacific.

The event also highlighted LACMA’s impending redevelopment, as the construction of the new David Geffen Galleries approaches its final phases, promising an enhanced visitor experience when it opens in April 2026.

For Isha Ambani, this dinner served as a charming platform, enabling meaningful interactions in a relaxed setting, beyond traditional boardroom discussions. For all attendees, it signified the dawn of a new era for LACMA and welcomed Isha as one of its newest members.
