However, ginger did not result in notable changes in body mass index, triglycerides, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, or insulin levels, while showing a beneficial effect on HDL cholesterol, commonly referred to as the “good cholesterol.”
These results imply that while ginger tea may offer some advantages for weight management, its effects might not be substantial. Nevertheless, even minor decreases in body weight or waist size can significantly influence overall health. Regular consumption of ginger tea may also promote healthier eating choices and assist metabolic processes when paired with a balanced diet and consistent exercise.
Apart from weight management, ginger provides numerous other health benefits. It’s widely recognized for promoting digestion, alleviating nausea, and potentially boasting anti-inflammatory properties.
