Miss Universe India Organisation urges kindness after 2025 controversy

Post by : Saif Nasser

The Miss Universe India Organisation has finally spoken about the controversy that followed Miss Universe 2025, after India’s Manika Vishwakarma did not make it to the Top 12. A statement was shared by Nikhil Anand, the National Director of the Miss Universe India Organisation, who addressed the global criticism and the hurtful comments directed at the newly crowned Miss Universe from Mexico, Fatima Bosch. His message focused on kindness, unity, and respect for the winner as well as the organisation.

The statement was posted on Instagram on November 26, just days after the grand finale held in Thailand on November 21. Manika Vishwakarma secured a place in the Top 30, while Fatima Bosch won the 2025 crown. The result led to a wave of online arguments, with many questioning the outcome. Nikhil Anand acknowledged these disagreements but reminded people that the Miss Universe platform has always supported the dreams of young women and changed lives across the world.

In his message, Nikhil shared that Miss Universe is more than a beauty pageant. He said it is a space where young women gain confidence, find their voice, and become leaders in their communities. He said the dream behind the crown is sacred and must be respected because it represents courage, intelligence, and compassion. He praised how the organisation has helped women in India and many other countries grow and create meaningful change.

Nikhil also expressed strong support for the Miss Universe Organisation under its new leadership. He said the leadership is open to feedback and is working hard to build a stronger and more inclusive platform. He explained that like any large and diverse global family, disagreements are natural, but the organisation is committed to making improvements and evolving with time. He urged fans and followers to stand with President Raul Rocha and trust the direction in which the organisation is moving.

A major part of his statement focused on Fatima Bosch, who has been facing hate comments online since her win. Nikhil said it was upsetting to see a young woman, who has worked so hard, being attacked on social media. He reminded fans that Fatima is a human being with emotions and dreams, and she deserves to enjoy her victory with happiness and dignity. He encouraged people to show kindness instead of criticism and to celebrate Fatima’s achievements.

Nikhil also said it was important to allow Fatima to begin her reign with positivity and support. He explained that posting negativity does not help anyone and only damages the spirit of the competition. He asked fans to focus on unity and to believe in the bright future of Miss Universe.

He ended the statement with a powerful message of hope and gratitude. He said that the future of Miss Universe is bright and that the global community must move forward with understanding, patience, and togetherness. According to him, every leader needs support to guide an institution, and with collective encouragement, Miss Universe can continue to empower women worldwide.

The Miss Universe India Organisation’s message comes at a time when social media debates have been dominating the conversation. With this statement, India has taken a firm and graceful stand, urging people to respect the winner, uphold the values of the pageant, and continue celebrating the dreams of young women who participate in it.
